Shadowrocket Download
and App Store Purchase Guide

A paid app, purchased once, available only on the App Store. Check your storefront and verify the app before purchase and installation.

  • App ID932747118
  • $2.99 one-time purchase (US storefront; check the App Store page)
  • Universal for iPhone and iPad (check the App Store page)

Storefront and account region: check your current account

On your device, open Apple ID in Settings, tap “Media & Purchases,” select “View Account,” then check “Country/Region.” The country or region associated with your Apple ID determines which storefront you see, not your device’s language. The China mainland storefront does not offer this app. If Shadowrocket doesn’t appear in search, check your storefront account region first; changing search terms alone won’t tell you whether the app is available.

To view or change your region, use the same “Country/Region” settings and follow the options shown on your device. Changing regions may involve your account balance, active subscriptions, payment method, and other account requirements. Whether you can complete the change depends on Apple’s prompts. This page explains where to find the setting but cannot guarantee the outcome. Read the account prompts and make sure you meet the requirements for the selected region before proceeding.

The App Store button on this page opens Shadowrocket’s US storefront product link. The storefront in the link may differ from the one associated with your account. The App Store may show availability, currency, and purchase terms based on the signed-in account. If it says the app isn’t available in your region, check your account settings. Changing the web address or device language won’t change your account’s country or region.

If your device is managed for work or family use, check whether purchase restrictions apply. Being able to view the product page doesn’t guarantee that your account can complete a purchase. Check your region, account status, and payment prompts first to distinguish between an app that can’t be found, a purchase that can’t be completed, and an installation that can’t proceed.

Verify the app: developer, icon, and app ID

Check each detail on the App Store product page. A similar name doesn’t mean it’s the same app. Screenshots show what the interface looks like; they don’t verify the app’s identity before purchase.

Check these three details on the product page

First, confirm the app is named Shadowrocket, then check the developer or provider information for Shadow Launch Technology Limited. Next, compare the official icon: a blue-purple outlined rocket on a white background, matching the icon shown on this page. Finally, check the product link for id932747118. The number 932747118 is the app ID, not a version number or order number.

Search results may include apps with similar names, icons, or descriptions. Don’t rely on the nickname “Shadowrocket,” search ranking, or a single promotional image. Open the product page and check the developer, official icon, and app ID together. If any detail doesn’t match, stop before purchasing and verify the app using the product link on this page.

Use interface labels to follow the instructions

The two images on the right are official English-interface screenshots uploaded to the App Store by the developer. Home shows the connection switch, Global Routing, Connectivity Test, and the SERVER group. Add Server shows where to enter server details. The interface may vary slightly by device, language, or app updates. Verify the app using the three App Store details rather than relying on a button’s position.

Not Connected on Home means there’s no active connection; it doesn’t indicate a purchase failure. Add Server is where you add server details you already own. If the SERVER list is empty, prepare your own subscription or server details rather than buying the client again. For next steps, read the official guide.

DEVICE / IPHONE

iPhone: purchase, installation, and first launch

Complete your App Store purchase and installation before configuring the app. Check the App Store page for system requirements.

Confirm the purchase on your device

Open the product page on your iPhone, verify the app, then tap the price button shown by the App Store and complete the required verification. Wait for installation to finish, then open Shadowrocket from your Home Screen or the App Store. If the button still shows download progress, wait or check the App Store download status. An incomplete download doesn’t mean you need to buy the app again.

If a prompt prevents you from continuing, check whether it concerns payment, low storage, network connectivity, or compatibility. System requirements are listed on the App Store page; don’t infer them from your device model alone. If you’ve paid but installation hasn’t finished, check your purchase history in your App Store account first. Payment confirmation and file transfer are separate stages and require different fixes.

Understand system authorization on first connection

After opening the app, import your own subscription or enter your server details. When you first try to connect, the system may ask to add a VPN configuration and verify your device. This authorization is needed to set up a system network connection; it isn’t an App Store payment step and doesn’t provide a server. Confirm that the request comes from Shadowrocket, then follow the system prompts.

After authorization, return to Home, check the selected server and Global Routing, then check the connection switch. To review your purchase, find Shadowrocket on your App Store account page. Verify the App Store purchase, system authorization, and server connection separately; completing one stage doesn’t complete the others.

DEVICE / IPAD

iPad: install using the same purchase

Use the same Apple ID purchase history on iPhone and iPad. Check the App Store page for compatibility and Universal Purchase availability.

Check the Media & Purchases account first

On your iPad, sign in to the App Store with the Apple ID used for the original purchase. Open your account’s purchases, find Shadowrocket, and download it again. A purchase made with the same Apple ID on iPhone usually doesn’t require another payment for iPad. If a price still appears, check that you’re using the same storefront account and purchase history before confirming a new transaction.

The iPad’s larger display may change how lists and settings are arranged compared with iPhone, but interface labels such as Home, Config, and Add Server remain useful when following the official guide. Check the App Store page for system requirements. After installation, check the server list, selected configuration, and system connection authorization on the iPad itself. A connection working on another device doesn’t mean this one is fully configured.

Check the same App Store page on other Apple devices

The compatibility section of the same App Store product page lists Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision. To use Shadowrocket on one of these devices, open its product page in the App Store on that device and check the compatibility details for your model. System requirements, available features, and Universal Purchase availability are as shown on the App Store page.

Sharing purchase eligibility between devices is different from sharing all configurations between them. Even if the App Store allows you to install the app, check how to import configurations and any service requirements on the target device. Don’t assume that interface layouts, authorization steps, or saved configurations transfer across all devices. The App Store is the only way to get the app.

PURCHASE / RESTORE

New device or reinstall: restore the purchase first, then your configuration

Restoring a purchase restores eligibility to install the app. Your subscriptions, server details, and personal rules must be checked separately.

Download again using the original account

On your new device, open the App Store, go to “Account,” then “Purchased,” find Shadowrocket, and download it again. Menu labels and sections may vary slightly by system version; use the purchased apps list shown on your device. Apps can usually be redownloaded without paying again when you use the Apple ID that made the original purchase.

If the app isn’t in the list, first check that Media & Purchases is using the original purchase account, not just the Apple ID shown at the top of your device settings. Then check your purchase history, hidden purchases, and current storefront region. If the product page shows a price, stop before confirming payment. Check which account owns the purchase before buying again.

For Family Sharing, first check whether the App Store page says the app is eligible, then review your family members’ purchase-sharing settings and Apple’s terms. Don’t assume that purchase restoration for one account applies to every family member or that different devices and accounts automatically share purchase eligibility.

After installation, check your connection details

After reinstalling, open Home and check whether your servers and configurations are still there. If the list is empty, follow the official guide to import your own subscription or server details. If some data was restored from a device backup, check that links still work, details are complete, and Global Routing is set to the intended Config, Proxy, or Direct.

Purchase history doesn’t save all connection details provided by a service provider or replace server-side access. Before changing devices, securely save configurations you’re entitled to use; they may contain passwords, subscription credentials, or private keys. Don’t post full subscription links, QR codes, or keys publicly while troubleshooting. Share only error messages without sensitive information.

After importing, check the selected server, configuration, and system authorization, then test the connection and actual access. Connectivity Test can help check the selected item, but its results may not reflect every service or website. If the problem persists, follow the connection troubleshooting steps in the user guide rather than repeatedly deleting the app.

PRICE / ONE-TIME PURCHASE

Price and one-time purchase: app purchase is separate from service costs

The US storefront reference price is $2.99 as a one-time purchase. Other storefronts show local currency; check the App Store checkout page for the actual price.

One-time purchase means a one-time payment for the app

After purchasing Shadowrocket on the App Store, you get the right to use the app under the store’s terms; the client isn’t billed monthly. Before paying, check the currency, amount, and account payment prompts. The US reference price doesn’t determine the checkout price in other regions or guarantee that the price won’t change.

App updates are handled through the App Store. Check Shadowrocket in your device’s App Store updates list, or turn on automatic app updates if you prefer. For update details, refer to the product page’s version history and in-app notes. This page doesn’t use a fixed version number as a purchase requirement, since that information can change.

Check your own service terms for server availability, expiration, device limits, and configuration details. Purchasing Shadowrocket does not generate this information. Add Server and Subscribe in the app are for importing your existing details; they don’t mean that a service is included with the client purchase.

If the app is installed but won’t connect, first distinguish between an app issue and a server issue. Check your details, subscription status, selected configuration, and local network, then review the error message. For payment, transaction history, or purchase eligibility, go to your App Store account. Keeping these issues separate helps avoid trying to fix a connection problem by buying the app again.

PURCHASE QUESTIONS

Shadowrocket download and purchase FAQ

Check each stage in order: storefront availability, payment, device installation, then app configuration.

Can’t find Shadowrocket on the App Store? Check this first.

Go to Settings → Apple ID → Media & Purchases → View Account → Country/Region to check your storefront. The China mainland storefront does not offer this app; the country or region associated with your Apple ID determines which storefront you see. After opening the product link on this page, follow the App Store prompts for your account.

Payment completed, but the download hasn’t finished. What should I do?

First check your purchase history in your App Store account, then check your device’s available storage, network connection, and any pending payment prompts. If Shadowrocket appears in your purchases, try downloading it again from there. Repeated payments won’t resolve a stalled download.

Do I have to pay again when I get a new iPhone or reinstall the app?

Sign in to the App Store with the Apple ID used for the original purchase, then find Shadowrocket in your purchases. You can usually download it again without paying. If a price still appears, check the account used for Media & Purchases and confirm the purchase record. Reinstalling the app won’t restore all configurations; check or import your own subscription and server details.

Can I use the same purchase on iPad?

You can use the same Apple ID purchase history to install Shadowrocket on iPhone and iPad, usually without buying it again for a second device. Check the App Store product page for system requirements, compatibility, and whether Universal Purchase applies. Each device still needs its own configuration and connection authorization.

Is Shadowrocket available on Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision?

The compatibility section of the same App Store product page lists Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision. Open the product page in the App Store on your target device. System requirements, compatibility, and Universal Purchase availability are as shown on the App Store page. The App Store is the only way to get the app.

How do I follow the instructions if the app is in English?

The official screenshots on this page show the app in English. Follow the interface labels as shown, including Home, Global Routing, Add Server, Config, and Settings. Don’t identify the app by its interface language alone. Verify it by checking the developer, official icon, and app ID. For import steps, continue with the official guide.
